WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT from another school of Architecture? Do all schools teach the same coursework? All accredited programs must cover 37 criteria outlined by the accrediting board, but beyond those requirements, each school has certain foci that differentiate their program from the crowd. At Carnegie Mellon, we have six defining interests that make our program unique: Integrated Design Education, Sustainable Design, Computational Design, Advanced Building Systems, Urban Design and Professional Practice.
