As part of its mission to disseminate knowledge on high performance buildings, the CBPD provides tours of the Robert L. Preger Intelligent Workplace™ and workshops on building performance and systems integration. Approximately 800 people visited the Intelligent Workplace in 1999, including , corporate executives, architects, engineers, developers, policy makers, educators, and students.

The tours and workshops can be tailored to focus on specific areas of interest. Tours take about 60 minutes. Workshops are either half-day or full-day, and include a tour as well as research presentations and discussion.

The fees for tours and workshops are as follows:

• Day-long workshops $5,000
• Half-day workshops $3,000
• 1 hour guided tour $1,000

General visitors are welcome to do a self-guided tour through the facility during regular business hours.
